Indians are increasingly drawn to foreign countries due to a blend of economic, educational, and lifestyle aspirations. Economic opportunities abroad often offer higher salaries and better living standards, which are significant motivators. The allure of advanced education, with top universities offering cutting-edge research and diverse fields of study, attracts many Indian students seeking global exposure and enhanced career prospects.
The quality of life in many foreign countries, characterized by better infrastructure, healthcare, and social security, also plays a crucial role. Many Indians are enticed by the prospects of a cleaner environment, safer cities, and a more balanced work-life dynamic. The chance to experience new cultures, travel, and broaden one’s horizons further adds to the appeal.
Additionally, the global demand for skilled professionals in fields like IT, engineering, healthcare, and finance makes Indians, known for their expertise and work ethic, sought after. Family reunification also drives migration, as many Indians move to join relatives who have already settled abroad.
The combined effect of these factors creates a strong pull towards foreign countries, promising a blend of professional growth, personal development, and an improved quality of life.

Now-a-days, mostly students prefer foreign education. Be it online or physical. In my opinion it is because of the course curriculum of the universities. The curriculum is in such a way that students are not able to gain any field experience. They just keep studying from books and when time of placement approaches, they have to take either a course or study by themselves. I am doing BCA from a private university. They teach us limited syllabus and only theory. And ask us to do an internship in summer and submit a project and report. How can we get an internship if you haven’t taught us any skills? Nobody want an intern who doesn’t have practical knowledge. We have to study be ourselves. Even you might be preparing for some kind of entrance exam by taking a coaching from somewhere and go to college just to get a degree. But that’s not the case with foreign education. They prefer practical over theory.
Also, less cost of education can also be the factor. I have seen a lot of students to prefer doing MBBS from foreign countries like Ukraine, Philippines, Russia, China or any other offering less fee than India…
