1. Focus on foundational skills: India emphasizes strong fundamentals in mathematics, science, and problem-solving, which are crucial for technical fields.
2. Leveraging technology: India has embraced online learning and digital resources to expand access to quality education, even in resource-constrained areas.
3. Encouraging entrepreneurship: India has fostered a vibrant startup ecosystem, providing opportunities for engineers to apply their skills and innovate.
4. Promoting STEM education: India has made concerted efforts to increase participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, especially among women.
5. Developing specialized training programs: India’s vocational and skill development initiatives help bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs.
By adapting these strategies to their local contexts, other countries can potentially replicate India’s success in producing world-class technical talent.
