First of all, we need to understand the basic definition of IQ(Intelligence quotient)and EQ(emotional quotient).
IQ refers to your ability to know and understand a particular thing(maybe a concept or a situation) and then apply it at a right time.
EQ refers to your ability to know and understand the emotional vastness of any living being.
Generally, people were often treated on the basis of their IQ level.But recent studies shows that there are two type of brain; one is rational and another one is emotional.
Scientist and researchers have shown their favor towards EQ, stating that our success in life largely depends on Emotional Intelligence (that is about 80%).
But, one needs to understand that “EQ matters more than IQ” is not always true.
“IQ may help you to build a bridge, but EQ helps you to understand the importance of it.”(this is my original quotation)
In life, you come across many type of people, the one who are very intelligent but possess zero empathy towards other, and then the one who are emotionally well but lacks any technical ability.One needs to find the balance between these two things.
At last , the conclusion comes to the fact that as a human being, one need to possess both kind of intelligence.
