The major goal of ensuring that all children, especially the most marginalized and disadvantaged, benefit from education, is implemented through several measures in education as follows:
Improved Access and Participation
1. Increase preschool enrollment, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, LDCs, and LLDCs where enrollments are low.
2. Lowering the number of out-of-school children and ramping up primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary school attendance. Reduce educational inequalities in selected groups of the population: people with disabilities, indigenous peoples, refugees, rural communities.
Improving Quality and Learning Outcomes
1. Improve reading and mathematics skills and achieve proficiency level.
2. Enabling the equalization of learning outcomes for students from poor and rich backgrounds, from different genders and from different regions.
3. Good quality teaching staff should be available and amount school facilities should be adequate, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa where quality education is at stake.
Fostering Inclusive Societies
1. Facilitating inclusive societies through the provision of inclusive educational opportunities available to learners in accessing knowledge that exists.
2. Opportunities in education should be created equally for each learner.
Schools are accessible, and inclusive for children to learn together in safe and healthy environments.
It is by such measures that inclusive and sustainable institutions will be established, ones that go on to empower previously marginalized or hitherto neglected individuals and assure success for every student.
