Climate change is mainly due to the release of greenhouse gases. This situation is caused by such gases as carbon dioxide and methane. They occupy the atmosphere where they absorb heat, which causes a global temperature increase and leads to irregular weather. The effects of climatic change caused by air pollution pose real threats to human health and the environment. A good example of this refers to higher temperatures that worsen the air quality which in turn leads to people developing respiratory and other illnesses. More countrywide, global warming brings about an imbalance in nature in that there are more hurricanes and unending droughts, with dangerous consequences for areas affected, increased hurricane dangers and drought-related risks for communities. The only way to decrease air pollution and global warming is by reducing emission of toxic gashes such as car exhaust gases into the environmental. In that way, it would be possible to protect human beings and the environment from any negative effects.
In today’s world, the quality of the environment will decrease and polluted day by day due to a lot of changes, and the introduction of industrialization and urbanization will affect climate change. Most unwanted harmful gases are released and mixed with the environment which causes air pollution and degrading the natural ecosystem.
Here are the numerous factors that air pollution contributes to climate change and the ecosystem:
– Black carbon aerosol will absorb the sunlight and lead to atmosphere heating.
– Sulfate Aerosols reflect the sunlight waves and lead to cooling in the earth’s atmosphere.
3. These harmful greenhouse gases often come from the same sources such as coal-fired plants and diesel-fueled vehicles.
4. Another most common and powerful term that contributes to the earth’s atmosphere and leads to air pollution is short-lived climate pollutant (SLCP).
5. Another greenhouse gas, ground-level ozone, is mainly a component of smog. They formed due to the reaction of sunlight with pollution including volatile organic compounds (VOC) and nitrogen oxide (NOx).
6. Such air pollutants settle on snow and ice which causes these surfaces to absorb more heat and melt, leading to climate change.

So, this is the full information about air pollution and climate change. Hope you get your answer. Thank You!
Air pollution is the contamination of atmospheric air by chemical, physical, or natural agents, making it unsuitable and harmful for breathing. Primary pollutants like carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur oxides, aerosols, and fine particulates have serious effects on both the environment and human health.

The Indian Government, observing the alarming effects of air pollution, has implemented certain measures such as the Air Prevention and Control of Pollution Act and Central Motor Act to mitigate the effects of air pollution. However, more such preventive measures are needed to address the emerging concerns.
