Deforestation, soil erosion and landslides, exacerbated by rapid urbanization and tourism, have rendered the region’s delicate mountain ecosystems particularly susceptible to harm. unlawful creation and mining sports have led to habitat destruction and water air pollution, impacting nearby biodiversity. weather trading compound those issues, with erratic climate and glacial melting — upending water access and vegetation. The 2013 Uttarakhand floods, triggered by excessive monsoons and exacerbated by deforestation, highlighted the susceptibility of the area to the natural disasters. to bring sustainable development and conservation of the herbal richness and sources of Uttarakhand those environmental challenges should be addressed.
