Increasing productivity both in terms of quantity and quality is an essential need of the hour which is termed as “‘Second Green Revolution” in India. Its goals possibly include enhancing crop yields, and promoting organic farming, enhancing water management and overall progress in farmers’ income. Its vision is to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and diversify crops and integrate modern technology to ensure food security and conserve the environment.
