Your elder brother is serving in the Indian Armed Forces, as a Lieutenant Commander for the Indian Navy. He has arrived home on vacation after rescuing an Indian Merchant Ship hijacked by Somalian pirates in the Arabian sea. While the ship was rescued, four persons were killed including two soldiers, a naval officer and the pilot of a tugboat. While explaining how the rescue operation was carried out your brother makes a comment about patriotism which hurts you. According to him people serving in Defence are more patriotic towards their country as compared to civilians. You too are patriotic towards your country and do not completely agree with your brother on this particular point made by him. Your brother gives you examples of other wars, where soldiers fought heroically and sacrificed their lives when needed, to protect the country.
(A) Can you convince your elder brother that even civilians are patriotic towards their country to the same extent as a soldier guarding the Indian border is?
(B) List down some acts performed by civilians which show that even civilians are as patriotic as soldiers laying down their lives for the country.
