This means that by investing in agriculture, the government and other bodies may:
Promote and develop sustainable agriculture and crop diversification, as well as support irrigation services.
Bring additional resources to the health systems through availability of healthcare including ante-natal, and post-natal care thus helping children grow and develop adequately and timely.
Incorporate food security and nutrition components in social protection mechanisms through conditional cash transfers.
-This will include education and awareness on nutrition and nutrition awareness generattion, where the society is helped to make the right choices in food.
-There needs to be global sharing of ways and means of combating malnutrition – sharing of ways and means that have worked in other countries.
-Assist in mitigating the adverse impacts of climate change, especially with regard to agriculture and food supply so as to ensure that people are well nourished in the future.
These have to be focused on. If these factors are attended to, governments and other organizations will find a way toward a future that will be free of malnutrition.
