Women’s education spanning different age groups is central to the achievement of gender equality and women’s empowerment in India. In the past, women have always suffered a raw deal, especially in education, hence the emergence of a deficit for women. Nowadays, there is a focus on female education, as previously, women experienced severe crises. Moreover, education empowers a woman to be independent, and she becomes a force that violently resists oppression.Frequent occurrences prove that women are mostly victims of their husband’s abuse or in-laws, but they cannot leave since they financially depend on him and there is pressure from society restricting their movements. Education changes this narrative. I am a learned woman, and now I can look for a job, make an income for myself, and fend for myself. Such a fictional character’s financial situation gives her the capability to decide on aspects of her life and counter oppressive situations.In addition, the education of women enables them to fully participate in economic activity, improve their family standards, and act as examples for the next generation. Of them, women are empowered to stand up for equal rights, be part of the community, and participate in political activities. Therefore, education for women is not merely raising the status of women but also raising the standard of society and the economy in India. Thus, increasing the education of females corrects previous injustices and lays the foundations for a society with fair and strong women.
