As a chairperson of the sport community. My main responsibility is that integrity of rules should maintain and everyone follow the rule. All rule are equal to everyone and noone should violate the rule.
In this case of the junior athlete in a junior age category won the medal but has crossed the age by 5 days, the issue must addressed with transparency.
Firstly, I thoroughly examine the complaint and think what action should be taken. The age eligibility is equal to everyone and competition should be fair among the certain age of athelete.these rule are set to create equality between the athletes and everyone get equal chance and no one volite the rule of the competition.
This is the serious issue, if i did not yake any action on it is unfair to all the athletes of the certain age. This is the rule of competition and everyone follow the rule. The most appropriate action is to ask the athletes to return the medal.this would maintain the fairness and integrity of the competition . If i allow the athletes to keep the medal it voliate the competition rule and fairness in competition this is also harmful for the future
Further I would consult with regarding thos with to course of action and maintain integrity and fairness in the competition and this is not happening ever in future.
And while returning the medal ,I motivate the athletes to be fair toward all play wisely. And motivate him to play more with fairness.he doesn’t feel demotivate.
