There can be several reasons historical and societal ,women have often suffered in silence and didn’t take stand for themselves due to patriarchy ,norms ,gender discrimination and expectations, lack of financial independence, no value of their opinion , family responsibilities and due to ethics and values of the society or family .
Many societies throughout history have been dominated by patriarchal systems that prioritised the education and empowerment of men over women .
Traditional roles play an important part such as emphasis on women ‘s roles wife , mother or care takers rather than active participant in social discussion & society or equal responsibility rather they were made to stay at home under the veil .
The lack of knowledge and educational opportunities .
Financial dependence of male members often prevented women from pursuing education or speaking out for themselves, without financial autonomy or assistance women were often abuse and exploitation .
The concept of “honor” and the preservation of family’s reputation were sometimes uses to justify and supress the voice of women .
The absence of legal protections or reforms .
They had suppressed there desires ,dream and will to speak under the silence of stigma, stereotypes, social pressure, family responsibilities and often due to “honor” of their family reputation.
