I definitely believe that Emotional Quotient plays a very big role in success and is essential to a person’s growth and development, perhaps even more so than Intelligence Quotient. With only Intelligence of one’s academic or professional pursuits, one could be successful in their career but may end up feeling unsatisfied in it. Emotional Quotient is important in becoming a capable leader, being able to work better in teams and cope with difficult tasks. Emotional Intelligence may or may not be enough to bring success on its own but is a vital part of one’s journey to attaining their goals.
1.I strongly believe that Emotional Quotient plays a bigger role than intelligence Quotient in defining a person’s success. I agree that in today’s materialistic world a person is known for the amount of money he earns or the number of car’s he/she owns, his designation etc etc but to live a happy life you need to be well in touch with your emotions. A person should not only understand his /her own emotions but also empathize with others and understand their feelings by putting themselves in the other person’s shoes.Anybody would agree that money brings them happiness but that happiness is not long live until and unless you have a person to share it with. We as humans want people to understand what we feel and want, but in order to do that we should also be ready to listen to what the other person says or wants.
2.If you only think about yourself someday you will lose the people who are important to you and that day all the things that once seemed important will feel mundane
3.Yes you can achieve success through intellectual intelligence but at some point of time you might not care for it because of the things you did or the way you handled certain situations. It can make you feel unsatisfied with you life .
4.Emotional intelligence alone cannot make you accomplish things so you should also try to handle situations intellectually at times .By balancing both of them together you can live a satisfactory life.
Indeed, I think that emotional intelligence is basically an emotional ability that helps to manage and regulate one’s emotions proficiently and also to understand others’ emotions in a puzzling situation. Emotional intelligence plays a bigger role in one’s life as it helps to navigate through life’s challenges and complexities efficiently. It can be useful in the future in the following ways: 1. to effectively communicate with other employees at work; 2. to become aware of one’s own emotions and feelings. 3. To manage one’s emotions and stress effectively. 4. To make rational decisions depending on the situation. Whereas the intelligence quotient is an intellectual ability that helps in logical reasoning and problem solving, it is limited to academics and professional or technical fields because it doesn’t take into account other variables like emotions or feelings in the pursuit of success. Therefore, emotional intelligence comes in handy to act empathetically towards others, build relations, and collaborate with others. However, according to me, achieving a balance between emotional intelligence and the intelligence quotient is a better way to deal with daily life challenges. Striking a balance between emotions and logical reasoning is a holistic approach to achieving success. It would be suitable for individual growth and development as well. In conclusion, I would like to say both are important, but emotional intelligence plays a bigger role in interacting with others and dealing with problems mindfully.
I strongly feel that emotional quotient and intelligence quotient both play a vital role in a person’s success. They go hand in hand acting as a helper for the other. A person with a higher IQ may solve a problem and get an accurate answer. But in the long run EQ is the main foundation for success for the sole reason of making a person resilient. Let’s be honest, nothing guarantees 100% success all the time. Every great renowned business man or a famous face that we now know has had the ability to withstand pressure thereby being resilient and emotionally strong. Despite having a higher IQ ,without a higher EQ a person would be unable to get up after one blow of failure hits them. Furthermore, a person may not be able to fathom success if it doesn’t come down his EQ. Ending my answer here, in brief words EQ is the catalyst for IQ which plays an unnoticeable key role in long run of succcess.

Even though both the Emotional Intelligence/ Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Intelligence Quotient (IQ) are crucial for a person’s success, EQ is considered to play a bigger role in it not only because EQ helps in understanding and managing our own emotions as well as others but also because it makes an individual more open-minded and flexible. EQ fosters empathy. People with high EQ can develop strong leadership skills and also establish effective communication, these characteristics are important for success in most of the industries. EQ helps people adapt to changing and new environment and also helps them navigate through complex social situations. They can manage stress well which leads to improved performances and productivity. Though IQ is vital for cognition, EQ helps in applying skills like critical thinking and reasoning in an effective way. EQ is not a fixed trait disposition, it can be developed through training and experience, thus making it a valuable skill that can lead to greater success and accomplishments.
