Protection of human right acts 1993.
ROLE : NHRC is responsible for protection of human right relating – life,Liberty, and equality. In Indian constitution gave Article of human right
Article -( 14-18 ,19, 21, 21A,22,32 )
NHRC HAS MANY FUNCTIONS:
1) human right protections and implementation.
2) visit jail and servey basic need and their improvement.
3) promote research and implemention .
4) encourage with NGO.
5) necessity for protection human rights.
This is a special commission and from time to time human rights are being violated. And giving solutions or suggestions on it. Its aim is to protect the right. And sends a report to the President about all this.
