Yes,i totally agree that unemployment is the prevalent cause for poverty in India. Here are some tensed  facts that highlight this issue:

1. Due to poverty, many people are facing serious problems of not getting a proper food of two times which is essential for survival.
2. Many of them not having a comfortable clothing to protect themselves and their skin .
3. When any one gets sick they even can’t get a proper treatment to save their lives ,after any mishappening their families have to suffer from that situation for whole life.
4. Many people have to suffer misbehave or violence for continuing their work on rich people’s residence for fullfilling their needs.
5. Most serious cause is that due to poverty,some parents send their children for begging or for doing work in their study age which is a serious cause for future generation.
6. This cause is literally a scared one , some people do crimes suffering from poverty forcibly they have to to in the need of money who are not getting work elsewhere.
7. Unemployment , the biggest and ancient cause of poverty.
8. Some are not having money for education from which the children have to suffer in their lives.
9. Government are saying every year,day , month that they will take some measures regarding poverty,but till now nothing has changed people are suffering from poverty till today and some are in the category of below poverty line. {BPL}

Government is making all their efforts in making India at top position in the field of technology and weapons but they need to understand that the real technology and weapons of any country is their citizens and employment so along with technology government must work in the issue of poverty and take some essential measures and people must also be aware about their rights they need to be active that what are their rights and their responsibilities in making themselves and employed person.
