Mission Shakti is a comprehensive initiative launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2020 aimed at empowering women and ensuring their safety and security. The program has three primary objectives:

It also seeks to promote women’s leadership and participation in decision-making processes.
3. Awareness and Education: The program emphasizes spreading awareness about women’s rights, legal provisions, and available support systems. Educational campaigns and community outreach are key components to change societal attitudes and promote gender equality.

Success and Achievements:

• Increased Reporting of Crimes: There has been a rise in the reporting of crimes against women, indicating greater awareness and trust in the system.
