PwDS

Persons with disabilities (PwDs) face significant social, economic, and physical barriers. Disability rights laws mandate accessibility, reservations, and non-discrimination. Welfare schemes provide income support, assistive devices, and rehabilitation services.

The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act and the National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities work towards the empowerment and inclusion of PwDs.
