What we lack is the inclusion of the practicality of a subject as a part of the teaching system. According to research, a lot of studies have shown that with the knowledge of a particular topic, if the education system slowly begins to add more practical learning such as workshops and hands-on training into the curriculum, it helps understanding and retaining concepts for an extended period. The balance is not quite good although these practices have been adopted by a few college systems all over India.
