Architectural Features of the Monuments of Agra

1. Taj Mahal: The Taj Mahal is renowned for its Mughal architectural brilliance. Its white marble facade, inlaid with precious stones, and the iconic onion-shaped dome reflect Persian influence. The monument is set within a charbagh (fourfold garden), symbolizing paradise.

2. Agra Fort: The Agra Fort showcases a blend of Islamic and Hindu architecture, characterized by its red sandstone walls and intricate marble inlay work. Key structures include the Diwan-i-Am (Hall of Public Audience) and Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), highlighting Mughal grandeur.
