In the normal typical curriculum followed from several decades, students just focused on the theory aspects of topics which they learnt, but as per time passed by each and everyone felt that the learnings which they are grabbing is just a piece of showcase. A soldier doesn`t become a soldier by just learning the tricks and processes of holding and firing a gun unless he dares to hold it and shoot by himself.
The conservative learnings make us parrot who keeps on flaunting the knowledge but when a student becomes practical he converts him into the eagle of vast skills. Practical projects help us to come out of our books, our limitations, our boundaries and feel the topics which are taught inside the rooms, they make one explore their hidden talents, make them know their drawbacks and feel them to work upon it, they make a student respect and gain importance of topics which they learn and even make them familiar that there`s something existing beyond just giving exams and gaining good marks.
Fetching practical problems makes one search for the practical solutions, makes them know how things really work, makes them respect the topics and generate interest and enthusiasm inside them to learn and make others know about their research how different they consume the topics and present to the outer world. Learning about our earth is interesting in books but holding a piece of globe and rotating it makes one passionate about earth and opens his or her mind towards the diverse things found in it, and who knows they even discover such things which are unexplored yet.
People believe that first they will motivate themselves and then step on the work but the reality is opposite, when one starts working then he or she becomes motivated, similarly when one starts doing practical projects then he or she gains interest in the topics and academics. Being practical increases knowledge, wisdom, confidence, will power, makes one passionate about the roots and working and the most important changes the prospective of young minds to consume and grab the learnings.

Empathy is a fundamental and formative aspect of children’s growth, which enables them to become responsible, sensible and helpful community members. Therefore, schools can ensure the development of empathy through the following strategies:
Model empathy: Students learn best from their teachers, so it is imperative for teachers to be realistic exemplars of empathy. Teachers must be more mindful of how they react to children’s behaviour and attitude and demonstrate empathetic communication through actions and words. For instance, instead of instantly rebuking a child’s distant attitude, more empathy can be offered by inquiring, trying to understand the reason for it, and then fixing it.
Perspective taking: This is an effective exercise in cognitive empathy, where the students can be encouraged to think about other people’s perspectives. By learning to put themselves in others’ shoes, children become more empathetic, non-judgemental and more sensible community members.
Community service: Community service helps children look into the lives and needs of others, making them more empathetic.
Empathetic classroom culture: Fostering an empathetic classroom culture, embracing differences, offering kindness, creates an environment where empathy thrives.
Classroom discussions: Open and frank classroom discussions on empathy, cultivates children’s development in empathy – also helping assess and monitor this growth.
