If you find that you are emotionally disturbed or not doing well emotionally, try to listen, encourage, and ensure them that it’s okay and safe to share what they feel. Make sure that they won’t feel alone, and assure them that they will get better. Try to interact with them; ask about how their day has been and what they have been doing. Nowadays, most children feel stress, and there are multiple reasons for it. Don’t make them feel that something is wrong with them.
Tell them that they might feel uncomfortable sharing what they feel, but it’s okay to share and the right thing to ask for help. If they don’t want to talk to you, suggest other people with whom they can talk. Teach them that beverages are meant to be bottled up, not human feelings.
