India is working on many projects that follow the Sendai Framework:

1. National Disaster Management Plan (NDMP) : India’s plan matches the Sendai Framework by focusing on understanding the risks, improving how to manage them, investing in making things more resilient, and getting better at preparing for disasters.
2. Disaster Risk Governance : Making the systems that manage disasters stronger by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and State Disaster Management Authorities (SDMAs) to help coordinate and carry out plans to reduce disaster risks.
3.  Early Warning Systems : Creating and improving systems to warn people about cyclones, floods, and other dangers early so they can prepare.
4. Community-Based Disaster Management : Encouraging people to get involved by training them and building their skills so they can be ready and strong in their communities.
5. Infrastructure Resilience : Putting money into making buildings and infrastructure stronger and using new technology and ideas to reduce disaster risks, like building codes for structures that can withstand disasters.

These efforts show India’s dedication to using the Sendai Framework in its national policies and actions.
