A bad environment at home significantly impacts the growth of a child. His mind would not develop the ability to respond to things, problems, and ideas in the way normal children are able to. To improve this skill, one must put in time for himself. A child who grows up without the emotional support of his parents seeks the same with his friends, partners, peers, and everyone in the world. They usually grow up with a void in themselves. It is quite necessary for parents to create an environment for their children that is safe and progressing. They should be able to instill values in their children while also posing as role models. A child always looks up to their parents.

While a child may not be able to progress much in society, he does develop significant levels of empathy, compassion, and sympathy. However, the problem with these traits is managing them and not letting people use them against them. These children do not possess the ability to care for their own needs, as they always think about their parents needs first, even as adults. After a lot of practice and mind reprogramming, one can sail through the challenges that come up in life with high emotional intelligence and a rational mind.
