Political: Women hold 23.3% of cabinet positions globally. The political system’s prejudice and disparities between genders are partly to blame for this. Women are notably ignored in areas that revolve around leadership and administration. However, greater opportunities for women to compete for positions, be part of decision-making, and have their perspectives heard in politics are necessary. Including females in the decision-making process will help to bring reforms to laws that do not adequately address the difficulties that women experience.
Economic: In comparison to men, women still face significant economic barriers despite witnessing tremendous advances over the year. Moreover, when it comes to employment, women face several difficulties in promotion and payment. Gender-based hardships may restrict women’s access to higher education and employment prospects.
Social: Due to gender stereotypes, females are expected to fulfill their traditional responsibilities, such as homemakers and caregivers. The issue of violence against women is very evident and has severe impacts on female of all ages and walks of life. This brutality can take place in several ways, such as gender-based violence, sexual violence, and domestic violence. Females who are victims of abuse frequently have physical and psychological scars; moreover, they face challenges in getting justice and assistance.
