The Revolt was Fuelled by economic political and Social grievances – Indian soldiers were aggrieved by low pay lack of promotion Racial discrimination and case of Enfield rifle greased by animal Fat

Unity among diverse groups-The revolt witnessed unprecedented unity among diverse groups including sepoys peasants Hind  and mus/ins and Rulers who Forged a defiance alliance against British regime demonstrating great valour and determination against British despotic, uplifting the sense of f nationalism

Impact of Revolt.. Though the Revolt was suppressed yet it made British to rethinking of their policies against India, British stopped interfering en domestic affairs of Local Rulers, , British had to increase the share of British Soldiers , missionary activities got hampered, and British crown took over Indian administration lende their control
