Education is a fundamental human right that should be accessible to all children, especially those aged six to fourteen, as they are the future. However, many remain in the darkness of illiteracy. The government and organizations should do their part by providing proper funding, adequate resources, and a better learning environment, particularly for those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
But is it truly the budget or funding that hinders education? Or is it the lack of study materials? In today’s world of digital learning, abundant quality material is available online. Children should be taught about the correct use of technology and given access to it. More funding should be directed toward providing digital platforms, especially for children from backward classes, with online learning made available through NGOs and other organizations.
Now, the question is: Is it only the government’s responsibility? At the ground level, understanding or accessing the problem is not easy for any organization. The government should take necessary actions, such as campaigns like “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.” However, despite such initiatives, not every girl receives her rightful education.
I believe that more than the government, citizens should spread awareness about the importance of education. Even with resources provided, the government cannot ensure every child’s education unless families understand its importance. Families play a crucial role in prioritizing education for their children.
By working together, the government, organizations, and citizens can ensure that every child has access to quality education and a brighter future.
