Marriage is known as a social institution for a reason.
Love marriage often lacks certain rationalism which is otherwise carefully taken care of in arranged marriages. This very lacking leads to disapproval of parents.
Marriage means a relationship between two families and not just two individuals. If any person wants to keep even at least a functional relationship with their family after marriage, they need to marry a person who is more or less compatible with the family.
Arrange marriage tries to increase the probability of this compatibility by simply making sure the following things –
Finding a bride/groom
These things will clearly ensure that friction between the two parties is least.
Although, these don’t account for the mentality of that individual or the amount of care and respect they would offer. That’s where love marriages have an upper hand.
But in love marriages more often than not, people check their own compatibility with the partner but forget to account for compatibility with family and expect for blind acceptance.
Also, often people can be irrational in love, forgetting to account for the fact that their partner is not just going to be their companion for life but also someone with whom they will raise their kids.
Lack of these considerations lead to friction between the family and the partner in future which further turn into disapproval by family for love marriages.

Despite women’s equal participation and capability in the workforce, they remain significantly underrepresented in top leadership roles such as CEOs of major firms mainly because of what goes behind the scenes.
Gender disparity or lack of women’s representation in higher positions all comes down to who takes care of the household and who are the role models.
We started educating girls and even motivating them to work but the expectation from them to take care of the household was never removed.
Even if a household has house helps for the various house chores, more often than not, it’s a female figure who is guiding them to work. Even giving them (house helps) the required orders needs certain amount of mind space, which is limited in all human beings, when spent at home it’s not left enough for the work place.
Men are comparatively much more free of these hidden responsibilities, therefore, their participation in the work force is more easy and less stressful.
In a 2020 article in The Hindu newspaper, a shocking statistics proves the above point, “92% Indian women take part in unpaid domestic work; only 27% men do so”
This is a major reason of lower productivity in women. But if you see it differently, if household work is also accounted for, we will see how men can be so productive in the workplace only because some or the other woman is doing everything necessary to keep that man running.
This eventually leads to slower promotion or lower promotion rates amongst women.
Other than this, in spite of the fact that women now days are educated and working, they don’t have the role models who could show them how to lead the world.
Overall, our workplaces as well as society is still not inclusive enough about the modern age women.

Mentioned in the other answers we have many challenges that will come up with the shift in demography. But these can be prepared for in advance.
Brief case study of China:
Taking the example of China, we can see that they are already in this phase. They enjoyed 30 years of demographic dividend, where they did the maximum utilization of their youth. In return now when the number of aged people in their country has increased, they have created sufficient wealth to withstand this.
Although, in their case there’s also a factor of declining population in general due to the trend of late marriages or no marriages at all amongst youngsters along with a low fertility rate.
When in future we face the same issue, the people and the government together will be responsible for various challenges mentioned as below-
1. Healthcare provision: More of elderly population would mean an increased requirement of healthcare facilities in every household. This also means that there will be more employment opportunity in the sector due to increased demand, so a focus on creating adequate human resources for the same will help keep the demand-supply chain fulfilled, creating –
2. Elderly issues: With ageing comes changes in roles of a person in personal and professional life. Their responsibilities change overnight and that can take a toll on their mental well-being.
To manage this, systems can be created to keep the elderly people engaged. Basic awareness has to be created amongst middle aged people and children about inclusivity of old age people.
It has to be ensured that they are also educated about the systems and trends of the new generation so they feel confident, like technological development.
These are issues in addition to the other basic issues that have already been mentioned in other answers.
But most importantly for better preparation of that phase India needs to utilize its current advantage of a bigger portion of working age population over other ages, in order to build enough for the future as well.
With its growing population, (and already being the most populated country in the world) and growing unemployment somewhere or the other we are loosing the golden opportunity.
The case of growing unemployment is also due to a shift in the interest of the youth in taking up farm related jobs, it’s more interested in non-farm activities, so the government has to create more employment there. Other than that following can help take advantage in the present and the future-
2. Focusing on increasing and expanding the manufacturing sector to increase growth rate as well as create employment.
