Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. Imagine you have a super-smart robot friend. This robot friend can learn new things, solve tricky problems, and even understand when you talk to it. That’s basically what AI is – really smart computer programs that can do things that usually only humans can do.
AI can:
1. Learn new information
2. Solve tricky puzzles
3. Find patterns in data
4. Make decisions
5. Understand what people say or write
6. Recognize things in pictures or videos
You use AI daily without realizing it. It’s in your social media filters, streaming recommendations, voice assistants like Siri, and phone’s autocorrect.
There are two main types of AI:
1. Narrow AI: Good at one specific task
2. General AI: Smart at many different things (still a future goal)
Currently, most AI is narrow – really good at specific jobs. Scientists are working on making AI as smart as humans in many ways, but that’s still far off.
AI is exciting because it’s always improving and finding new ways to help us.
hope this helps ?
