Most times, EQ means much more than IQ because it refers to the ability of an individual to understand, manage, and appropriately express his or her emotions while navigating and influencing the feelings of others. While IQ measures a nearly structured set of cognitive skills that involve logic, reasoning, and problem-solving, EQ is representative of a very wide and critical set of skills that determine the success of people in their personal and professional lives.
First, high EQ improves one’s interpersonal relationship. In that way, those with high emotional intelligence can understand others better, communicate with them more appropriately, and deal with conflicts more skillfully to have healthier, more cooperative interactions. These are some of the basic skills needed at home and in the workplace, where goals are often attained through teaming and collaboration.
Second, EQ is a way toward better mental health and well-being. Compared with ordinary people, those with high emotional intelligence tend to witness an enriched competence in knowing themselves and hence managing their feelings, reducing stress, and preventing burnout. They are also equipped to deal with setbacks and failures, maintaining resilience and a positive outlook.
Thirdly, leadership effectiveness is often more closely linked to EQ than IQ. All leaders who can really inspire, motivate, and manage their stress while developing a positive ambience within the work environment have characteristics of emotional intelligence that help in building trust and driving collective success.
Moreover, today’s fast-moving environment requires adjustment. EQ makes one flexible, open to change, and responsive to the emotional climate of one’s surroundings—a skill quite paramount in the navigation of uncertainties and complexities.
On the other hand, just as IQ dominates the intellect, EQ dominates the mysteries of human intercourse, mental health, leadership, and changeability. Therefore, the development of one’s emotional intelligence has deeper and more lasting impacts on general success and fulfilment in life.

Schools should teach practical life skills alongside academic subjects to raise well-rounded and able persons capable of facing real-life challenges. While academic subjects deliver essential knowledge and cognitive skills, practical life skills, among which are financial literacy, communication, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence, equip one with how to navigate everyday life effectively. For example, knowing how to handle finances, cook well-balanced food, or keep a healthy mental status improves the quality of life significantly.
Including life skills in the learning curriculum bridges another main gap: theory to practice. Most of the students are very good at theoretical studies, but when it comes to implementation in practical life, they fail. This obviously shows the requirement for a balanced education. The most foreground aspect of life skills education is its encouragement of holistic development, which should make the student proactive in problem-solving and informative in decision-making.
A school system that integrates practical life skills will be able to raise students who can easily fit into the adult world and derive benefits. People who have passed through such a school system will not only have knowledge but also be able to handle personal and professional life. Such an all-round education system would, therefore, foster resilient and resourceful people able to thrive in diverse contexts, hence contributing to building a more competent and empowered society. Therefore, this becomes immensely important in raising proficient, self-assured, and self-reliant people through a balance of academic achievement and practical life skills.

The digital technology and the digital book that we are witnessing has had a big impact on the traditional print literature, it has even changed the reading habit in a way that we have not been able to imagine. E-books aren’t quite as efficient in terms of time, space, and weight. But having the chance to carry them on pocket-size gadgets, resulting in access to a plethora of titles instantly, and even offering the possibility to change the text size and background lighting for more personalized comfort are their unique features. This kind of accessibility really means sharing reading not only with the smarter ones who might suspect not having easy access to the so-called real books but also with those who are not so happy with the technological changes. Besides, there are interactive features that digital platforms often include, such as hyperlinks, multimedia content, and annotation tools. Consequently, the reading process is enriched through different means such as an increase in the reader’s engagement and improvement in comprehension.

It’s impossible to ignore constructive criticism on both personal and professional levels. I do not hide or show defensiveness. I look at such a moment as a chance to get better, rather than a personal attack. In the case of constructive criticism, the first thing I do is pay attention. I always communicate the whole message and give the good advice that is concealed in the message. I thank them, and I express my respect to the one who shared the positive criticism, and who has my best interest at heart. By doing so, people form strong relationships with each other, and I prove that I am open to learning.
See lessMoreover, I ponder about the criticism, and I judge it fair and objectively identify the areas that may need my improvement. I do prioritize point-to-point solutions and make a plan of action to solve it. For example, if the critics focus on my communication skills, joining a communication workshop or giving myself more speaking opportunities can be the alternatives I choose. Additionally, I also ask more questions to eliminate the confusion, thus making sure that all is clear to me.
But following the suggestions made is of the utmost necessity. I am in control of my planning and I adjust and improve my settings as needed. Concerning the matter, I also do some self-examination to check on my development and adjust my plans accordingly. Through constructive criticism, I manifest the ability to overcome life’s adversities and the will to develop myself, consequently boosting my proficiency and overall performance.

One of the most versatile and environmentally friendly is mushrooms as a product of Integrated Farming Systems (IFS) due to their flexibility and numerous benefits. Mushrooms are a part of IFS thus they contribute to sustainable agriculture by intelligent recycling of agricultural waste products such as straw, sawdust, and husks while using substrates for cultivation. Not only does this process give us an important crop, but also it helps with the issue of recycling organic waste, lowering the environmental costs. Additionally, mushroom farming is able to diversify farm income, which is one of the plant alternatives that farmers can grow along with their current crops without heavy initial cost and large space requirements.
See lessNutritionally, mushrooms are rich and, besides, they are useful for food security in the sense that they can grow throughout the year and are full of low-calorie, high-protein food. A spent mushroom substrate, on the other hand, except for it being an organic fertilizer, helps as a soil conditioner that gives the soil a share of essential nutrients, aggrandizing its fertility. The synergistic effect enhances crop yields and makes better the development in the following crop cycles.
Furthermore, the interconnection of mushroom farming with livestock farming such as poultry, other livestock, and aquaculture forms a more robust and self-sustaining farming model. Interconnections facilitate organic and natural methods of production, thus creating a balanced ecosystem. For this reason, including mushrooms in IFS is the best way to be holistic toward farming that supports the economic issues, the environmental ones, and food security.

At the junction of art and artificial intelligence, we find both a deep challenge to our understanding of creativity and authorship and a blurring of lines between human and machine contributions. To this point in history, creativity has been seen as a uniquely human characteristic, full of emotional depth, individual expression, and the ability to draw upon a large well of experience and cultural context. In contrast, AI-based systems can outperform human creativity when it comes to rendering artworks, music pieces, and literature that are of high complexity and aesthetic value, much like those humanly done. And so, basic questions concerning creativity are raised: If an AI creates a masterpiece, does that mean that the artificial intelligence had been creative, or was it simply imitating a learned pattern from a human?
Secondly, authorship becomes ambiguous. Once AI artwork is sold or exhibited, it raises questions about the sole creator being the artist. Therefore, credit has to be accorded to either the AI, its programmers, or the people whose data trained the AI. This junction thus also raises legal and ethical issues with respect to intellectual property and the value of human artistry. This continuous improvement in AI is forcing us to reconsider what creativity and authorship mean to us—exceeding human capability and becoming collaborations between humans and machines themselves.

Some of the aspects of mental processes and social interactions in human cognition and behaviour that must be replicated by AGI include the following: First, one fundamental characteristic of this type of learning has to do with the capacity that AGI may learn as a man learns through experience. This includes not only pattern recognition and understanding but also generalizing beyond what is learned to new situations. Most probably, AGI will have to demonstrate reasoning and problem-solving capabilities that empower it to make decisions, plan activities, and adjust strategies in front of any complex and dynamic environment.
Another critical aspect is emotional intelligence: understanding and responding to human emotions, empathy, and the capability for effective social navigation. This shall enable AGI to effectively communicate with man and build up cooperation founded on trust. Conversely, AGI has to be as creative and innovative as human beings—that is, having the capacity to come up with new ideas and solutions by going out of the box.
Furthermore, the understanding and communication of language are very key because AGI has to understand and generate natural languages in a bid to interact seamlessly with humans. To this end, ethical reasoning and moral judgment are necessary to ensure that the decisions made by AGI are in tandem with human values and societal norms. Under the integration of these aspects of cognition and behaviour, AGI achieves holistic and human-like understanding and interaction with the world.
