Economically , modernization has brought rapid growth, industrialization, and globalization, but it has also led to the decline of small-scale industries and businesses, resulting in unemployment and significant economic inequality.’Having two or three billionaire and a large group with a little or no income!’
In terms of development, I believe we have misunderstood the concept by adopting Western ideals. Development doesn’t only mean urbanization, technological advancement, and infrastructure development; it can also be achieved by upgrading our cultural heritage and village systems maintaining its true essence.
In order to to adapt the Western education system somehow we have completely lost our true Indian education system (Gurukul System) which was way more effective and everybody knows the current scenario and condition of the modern Indian education system.
Overall, there is a drastic change in the mindset of our youth, who are mindlessly adopting Western culture and growing up with little or no cultural values, leading to mental health issues and existential crises.
In conclusion, I believe we should maintain a balance between embracing Western culture and preserving Indian traditions to become a powerful, progressive nation without losing the uniqueness of our diverse culture.
