Landforms found till now are listed below:-
- Coastal landforms:- It is mainly formed on coastal areas due to the high velocity pressure of the wind waves.It is also known as beach landforms.
- Mushroom rocks:-Strong winds erode faster at the base than the top.After that the base gets eroded leaving a narrower base as compared to top.Tge shape after this process looks like mushroom such rocks are called Mushroom rocks. These rocks are mainly found in the Sahara desert.
- Loess:-Wind carries fine dust particles to far and deposit them in a humid regions over a large area.Some loess deposits can be found in China, the Pampas region of Argentina, etc.
- Sand dunes:-When the wind blows in the great velocity, and carries sand particles with it.When it’s speed decreases,it drops and deposits the sand in low hill like structure,these structures are called Sand dunes. These sand dunes are commonly found in deserts.A crescent shaped sand dunes is called a “Barchan”.
