This is an extremely interesting question. My 2 cents on this would be that Indian Education System system, though seen as one of the best in the world, must implement some reforms so as to achieve holistic development and not just award students on the basis of their exam performance.
One such reform that has been recognized in recent years by various policy and curriculum changes is the importance of Continuous Evaluation models. This helps in assessing the progress of students through several methods beyond traditional examinations – such as projects, presentations, social work, and research etc. This model provides a more comprehensive view of a student’s abilities and growth.
Another change that can be made is revising curriculums to appraise skills like critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving to encourage practical interdisciplinary learning through trial -and-error. Students being made to engage in extracurricular activities, such as sports, arts, and being given the time to discover their passions, can also contribute to their overall development.
In conclusion, increasing the activity of parents and the community in the educational system can provide a better support system for students. Moving away from major overemphasis on memorization and high-pressure testing is definitely bound to show better holistic growth in students, educators, and the overall learning system – which will lead to creation of hardworking, smart, adaptable, and empathetic humans.

Mainly it’s due the education system build on memorisation and its stagnant nature which does not cater the up coming generation but follows the same curriculum that has been used for a decade or so. The education system in the primary level only focuses on studying and getting grades, this is where teachers start telling to score well rather than have good skill sets or personal development. You can clearly see that children will know how to score well but they won’t know how to express themselves properly , interpersonal skills can be seen lacking. The education system in itself is built very rigidly to follow one type of studying and it does not cater to different type of students and their pace of learning. Children are made to think but with strict parameters and out of box thinking isn’t always welcome.
To improve these conditions, there is need for a dynamic system which is incorporated with newer technology. Children should be allowed to develop their talents and inter personal skills in the primary level and then importance can be give for scoring . Highly trained teachers who are well equipped with child psychology is needed as well. Classroom should be made into an environment where children have no restriction in their imagination and opinions.
