Certainly, there might be an underlying notion proposing that the excessive use of technology is simply to tackle the recent surge in psychological problems. In this perspective, some people abuse technology with honor, fit event, instance, in which they worry, become depressed, feel alone, and seek to escape or deaden their pangs through technology.
However, the ongoing activity of providing oneself with information from electronic gadgets does not only create a diversion from the present predicament, but also worsens the predicament with time.
To mitigate such problems a comprehensive approach must be adopted to tackle substance abuse. This includes acknowledging and combating technology addiction and addressing other mental health concerns such as:
