It’s absolutely disgraceful how today’s leaders shamelessly exploit religion to enhance their vote bank. They incite religious hatred among diverse communities, which is utterly absurd. In today’s world, where unity should prevail despite diverse religious beliefs, it’s disheartening to witness division perpetuated by leaders engaging in shameful practices.

India, a country known for its secularism, opens its doors to individuals from a multitude of cultures and faiths. The once revered motto “Unity in Diversity” aimed to create a sense of belonging and inclusion. However, the current landscape is marred by heightened differences, rendering this motto almost obsolete.

In the midst of prevailing darkness, there are remarkable individuals who shine in the limelight and refuse to let differences divide them. Let’s mirror their resilience and break free from the shackles of religious animosity, working towards fostering a world of universal brotherhood.

The common belief that girls are always required to think and dress carefully is not solely about gender. Both boys and girls may need to consider their actions beforehand. It’s not simply a matter of gender; sometimes it’s dictated by the environment, community, or safety concerns. In Indian society, children, especially girls, are closely guarded. It’s an undeniable fact that our society is not entirely safe for children or people in general; that’s the reason, particularly girls are asked to be more vigilant towards their actions and dressing sense.

In our society, it’s a common struggle for people to embrace broader perspectives. Frequently, there is a tendency to be more protective of daughters than sons because some believe that boys can fend for themselves, whereas girls may require additional protection. Females have faced more stringent social standards and harsher forms of judgment compared to their male counterparts which is the sole reason why girls are asked to be more careful of their conduct in public. Today, girls are not the only ones facing judgment; boys are also criticized if their behavior does not meet societal expectations.

Let’s not ignore the growing number of assault cases day by day. It’s not that these cases increase because of girls dressing inappropriately, rather it reflects the nature of the society we live in and the type of people we are surrounded by. We cannot do anything to change people’s mindsets, what we can do on our behalf is keep ourselves safe from any danger or harm that might fall upon us.
