Nagara School of Architecture
During the 5th century AD, this unique style of architecture developed in the Northern part of India. It comprises features like panchayat style, assembly halls, and the temples were built on the apprised platform.
Dravidian Style of Temple Architecture
Under the Chola empire, a new kind of temple architecture was developed which is known as the Dravidian style. One of the important features of the Chola temples were they concentrated on the decoration through sculptures.
Nayaka School of Temple Architecture
It flourished during Nayaka’sNayaka rulers. Mostly similar to the DravidianDravidiyan style, it’s also known as the Madurai School. The art of gopuram reached its end under this style.
