Traditional gender roles often dictate different expectations for boys and girls. Girls might be expected to adhere to certain standards of behavior and appearance that boys are not. In many cultures, there are stricter norms around modesty for girls, influencing their clothing choices and behavior in public. Unfortunately, girls and women often face higher risks of harassment or violence in public spaces. This necessitates more caution when going out alone or at certain times of the day. Also ,Media representation often reinforces stereotypes about how girls and women should look and behave, contributing to the pressure to conform to these ideals.
These are some factors which lead girls and women to constantly get “confirmation” to what they are doing or what they want to do. The moment girls will stop “asking for confirmation” and be independent , they’ll be free. Although , its a long process but worth trying.
