Honestly, often I do not have people around me, when I need them. They are usually unavailable/ busy with their life. And, it’s not always that they don’t want to. They simply can’t, sometimes. Our friends/family are there for us. Yet, the lifestyle that we have adopted these days, has changed the way we communicate with each other. Both them/we need to stand alone at times. It is in these testing situations, when survival seems vital. Living seems like a huge task to take up. If you decide to not give up though, there is still hope for you. And you realize at a point that you want to, and you can help yourself. Even when you feel down. You take up that difficult task. You do that piece of work left aside, with pride. It would be wrong to say that we don’t want our family or friends’ support. Yes, we do. Them being there makes us feel seen/heard. But eventually, we learn to manage our lives all by ourselves when they are not.
