Modernisation is helping women to become successful entrepreneurs but still they face major challenges which sets them back. There is a need for immediate attention so that we are able to create a gender neutral environment for today and for upcoming generations.
The major challenges faced by the women in the highly competitive business world are discrimination, prejudice, stereotype attitude. Women are expected to manage both household chores and the business which affect them physically, mentally and emotionally. Social norms, lack of financial support decreases their work capacity and affect their confidence adversely. Gender inequality, pay gaps, lack of support from the family exaggerates the problem. Even if the women are highly educated and talented they are not allowed to work due to family pressure and conservative mindset.
There is a need of stringent policies and regulations that restricts discrimination in the workplace. A multifaceted approach is required which helps to promote equality and support to the women in the workplace. A friendly work environment, support from the government will help them to become successful. The awareness should be started from the elementary level. Women should be trained and given opportunity to expand. The support from the society, change in the mindset will help women to succeed.

Minority and tribal areas lack education facilities, face problems of displacement and rehabilitation causing them psychological problems, health related problems, erosion of identity etc.The Constitution of India in Article 15(4),Article 29, Article 46,Article 350 provides for educational and cultural safeguards of scheduled tribes.
Implementation of any government policy in such areas is not without challenges. Some of the challenges that administrators face while implementing policies in such areas are:
1. To build rapport with people of such areas who are educationally backward and culturally different as alienation would lead to rejection of functional authority exercised by bureaucracy.
2. Environment resource management would be another challenge as tribals struggle to preserve their ecosystem.
3.To make people of minority and tribal areas understand relevance of technology is another challenging task.
4. Assimilation of such groups in the mainstream citizenry would be difficult since people living in such areas prefer isolation.
5.Policies relating to empowering women in tribal areas would be hard amidst patriarchy and rigid social codes.
