Schools can play a crucial role in improving the mental condition of teenagers of today’s generation because students are of age from 12-16 years utilise their most of the time in schools. So schools has to realise this responsibility and should make changes in their curriculum.
Here are some following suggestions which can schools should adopt in order to improve the mental health of students:-
1. Atleast one class in a week on Mental Health and related issues.
2. Reducing the burden of assignments and Homeworks.
3. Teachers should not pressurise students for study and getting good grades.
4. Teachers has to become friendly towards students so students can ask their queries to them without hesitation or fear.
5. Schools should take students on a trip atleast 1 time in a year.
6. Schools can appoint a psychiatrist to provide psychology support to student who is suffering from mental illness.
There can be more ways to help out students from mental problems and providing psychological support which schools should adopt to transform Young minds of India.
