Political Organization During the Rigveda Period

  • These councils comprised tribal elders and warriors who discussed important matters and provided counsel to the Raja.

Military Organization

• Warrior Class:
  • A distinct warrior class emerged, consisting of skilled fighters who served the Raja.
  • Military campaigns were often undertaken to expand territory or protect against rival tribes.
