In India, rice cultivation methods include transplanting, where seedlings are grown in nurseries and then planted in fields; broadcasting, where seeds are scattered directly in the field; and SRI (System of Rice Intensification), which uses fewer seeds and water for higher yields. Drilling is also used in dry areas.
