In the administration of justice and equality, a significant portion of the legal system in India has its delivery issues. Among the key issues involved are the following:

Judicial Backlog: This entails a huge judicial backlog in courts which in itself leads to justice being delayed over the years.

Corruption: There is corruption in the judiciary and law enforcement, which is why the system has such an upside down state.

Access Inequality: The poor class of people in the society do not have appropriate legal assistance and justice for them.
-Obsolete enactments: Some of the holistic approach old laws need to be amended in order to solve present-day challenges.
-Legal Awareness: There is very little knowledge concerning one’s legal rights and remedies among the community members residing in the villages.
-Police Reforms: The violence and incompetence among some police officers meet the ends of justice only up to a certain point.
Currently what is needed are comprehensive reforms that comprise judiciary changes, law enforcing agencies strengthening, enhancement of legal assistance services and elevation of legal education.
