As women negotiate different stereotypes and biases based on their standing in the social structure, she adapts herself to new strategies like:
Women who assert how they feel and what is appropriate in the environment are often doing so as an antidote to stereotypes which peg them as being passive or submissive. They challenge these prejudices by expressing themselves in all confidence.
Education and Awareness Ideally, women must educate themselves about bias in addition to recognizing that is present. Being aware also enables them to challenge stereotypes and fight for equal treatment.
Support Networks: Forming strong support networks with friends, family and mentors help for emotional reassurance and practical advice. These networks provide a supportive environment to share experiences and advice on coping with bias.
